Uusi Ballet workshop -kesäkurssi starttaa kesäkuussa! 

Kurssi kohdennettu lasten ja nuorten ikäisille voimistelijoille ja tanssijoille

Ohjaajan ja kurssin kuvaus alla englanniksi:

Maria Beseghi is an Italian professional dancer, dance teacher and choreographer. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2010 at the “Hochscule fur Musik und Theater” in Munich, Germany and started immediately to work as a full-time professional ballet dancer in various companies in Europe ( Finnish National Ballet, Zurich Ballet, Northern Ballet and Staatsballett Hanover).

After 8 years of dancing full-time, she shifted her main focus towards teaching. 

“Teaching for me is a continuous research, adapting and learning process.I am very curious about sports, especially those that share lots of similarities with ballet, such as rhythmic gymnasts. I feel we both have things to learn from each other.My goal as a ballet teacher at SVS, is to help young gymnasts gaining more body control, precision, lines and also musicality and artistry. “

In the summer classes we will work on ballet technique but also on the expressivity and movement quality, by including in the class some ballet-based choreography.  At the end of the summer course the students will have the chance to perform it ( for example in the form of a live streaming or a video for the families)

Maria is also currently studying to be a Pilates instructor and will be graduating for that in autumn 2021.
